Introduction to Meditation Course


Meditation is a wonderful way to bring peace and calm into your life and there are also health benefits. I found that many people new to meditation and even for those more experienced, are not aware of the different types of meditation and the pros and cons of each style.  This class is aimed at providing greater insight into the topic. 

This course aims to provide the background to meditation, the different styles, and how to get the most from meditational practices.  It will include some short meditations but is primarily to broaden your understanding of the topic. It also considers the scientific evidence supporting meditation as a beneficial practice.
